Paperwork Needed

We know paperwork can be a burden...

be sure to discuss your specific application with a mortgage advisor so we can customize the documents we need to get your loan done quickly.

It's our #1 goal to make this process as painless as possible for you. We strive to minimize the paperwork you have to gather for us, as we value your time and sanity! Many lenders don't understand how the paperwork supports your application and that's how we're different:  where they ask you to dig up far more documents than are actually required for your loan, we do not. We use public records and other QC tools to reduce paperwork and save you the hassle. If you can't get everything up-front, its okay! We will work with you to gather paperwork in stages as the loan process unfolds.

To apply for a loan, you will have to provide the bank with detailed documentation of your financial history. A complete 2-year history of where you've lived and worked is necessary to process your application. The details of all property owned, including bare land, and the costs for these properties is a part of how we assess your ability to repay the loan. The lender will request a credit report from a credit agency and will verify the information provided in your loan application. Be prepared to provide things such as:

  • Social Security numbers for both you and any co-borrowers
  • Copies of checking and savings accounts statements for the past two months
  • Evidence of any other assets such as bonds, stocks, or money saved in retirement programs (i.e. 401k or IRA)
  • Recent paycheck stubs
  • W-2 withholding forms, or income tax returns for the past two years to verify your income and proof of employment
  • The name and contact info for someone who can verify your employment
  • Residence history for the past two years
  • Sales contract for the purchase of a new home
  • Homeowner's association information with contact information if property is a condo or part of a homeowner's association
  • Additional information will be needed based on the data in your application
